This position will be located at Table Rock State Park, 5272 State Highway 165, Branson. Shift is primarily Monday through Friday (five 8-hour days per week), 7:30am to 4:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Shifts may vary with the time of the year to meet the needs of the facility. Must also work varying shifts depending on holiday, emergencies, and special events. This position requires working regular weekends, nights, and holidays May through September.

- Responsible for performing a variety of semi-skilled work in the alteration, maintenance, and repair of state buildings and facilities.
- Research, estimate, acquire bids and/or purchase materials for specific projects or repairs as needed.
- Employee will work in a variety of trade areas such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, concrete and masonry, painting, plastering, and mechanical repair in settings such as facilities, grounds, and cemeteries.
- Routine daily cleaning of park buildings, restrooms, campsites, and park grounds.
- Collaborate and problem-solve with team members and supervisors.
- Participate in stewardship work to include prescribed fire, invasive/exotic species control, and trail maintenance.
- Maintain a valid vehicle operator’s license to operate and maintain licensed vehicles, as well as tractors, mowers, skid steer, and other grounds related equipment.
- Operate and maintain lawn mowers, tractors, skid loader, trucks, chainsaws, leaf blowers, and similar mechanical equipment.
- Maintain a working knowledge of park rules, regulations, procedures, and policies.
- Will oversee a seasonal crew engaged in maintenance tasks.
- This position is required to obtain and maintain a DS I Water Certification. If you do not currently possess this license/certification, you will be given six months to obtain the necessary license/certification.

- Four to six years of on-the-job training/experience in any of the following trade areas: building, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, or mechanical trades (Education may be substituted for experience.)
