This position will be located at Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park, at 800 Guy Park Dr., Wildwood, MO. The candidate will work up to 37.5 hours a week from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. They will be required to be available for scheduling on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays as these are peak visitor times.
Duration of Assignment: June 2026 through November 29, 2026
Responsibilities - What you’ll do- Utilize internet-based reservation system to assist visitors in booking campsite/shelter/meeting space reservations
- Address camping, hiking and general visitor inquiries via telephone and in-person
- Operate retail store (sales via cash register, reconcile cash drawer, replace stock as needed)
- Light cleaning of the lobby, gift shop & restrooms, etc., in the Visitor Center
- Maintain/keep stocked informational literature displays/racks
- Learn park geography, trail systems and safety regulations in order to respond to visitor inquiries.
