Douglass Community Services, Inc. is hiring a Home Visitor to support families with infants and toddlers through Early Head Start. If you’re passionate about parent education, child development, and community impact, this role is for you.
Hourly Wage: (Level 25) $15.76 w/ CDA $16.69 w/ Associate degree $18.44 w/ Bachelor Degree
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hrs per week | 49 weeks annually
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with parents as their child’s first teacher
- Conduct weekly home visits and group socializations
- Promote child development, parenting skills, and family self-sufficiency
- Connect families to community resources
- Support health, nutrition, and positive routines
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma/GED required (degree preferred)
- Experience in early childhood, family services, or case management
- Reliable vehicle for home visits
- Willingness to earn Home Visitor CDA & certifications

Our programs serve infants, toddlers and preschoolers’ with varying degrees of physical abilities. This position may require lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs., walking, climbing, kneeling, crawling, bending/stooping, sitting, standing, driving, and prolonged visual concentration.
