The Department of Mental Health (DMH), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), seeks a Lead Administrative Support Assistant.
This position will be located in Jefferson City, Missouri.
The base salary offered for this position is up to $42,000.00 annually, commensurate with education and experience. If the selected candidate is eligible for a pay differential, such as retention pay, the total salary may exceed what is listed in this posting.
Responsibilities - What you’ll doThis position will provide advanced clerical, technical, and administrative support to the various activities and functions of the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). Responsibilities include phone coverage for DDD Main Line, assisting callers with Medication Aide Certification general issues, organizing meetings, making travel arrangements, taking minutes, creating publications/presentations, providing technical expertise and specialized program knowledge regarding assigned areas, and participating in phone coverage rotation for the DMH Front Desk.
Qualifications - All you need for successMust have one year of experience as a Senior Office Support Assistant or four years of relative clerical experience. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
A successful incumbent must be able to function with a high degree of autonomy, demonstrate a strong organizational and data management skill set, and be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher.
Familiarity with Microsoft Access is preferred.
