- Process job applications and assist with applicant tracking
- Respond to and appropriately direct incoming inquiries, including applicant questions and other general requests, ensuring timely and helpful follow-up
- Assist with law school program tracking by recording intern and law clerk placements, maintaining documentation, and updating spreadsheets.
- Support onboarding and new‑hire processes by preparing and processing required paperwork
- Serve as backup for reception, including answering general inquiry and main‑line calls
- Issue employee photo identification cards
- Assist with payroll processing as directed
- Respond to employee benefit questions and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Provide administrative support to human resources and operations staff, including data entry, document preparation, and filing
- Assist with other HR functions and special projects as needed
- Graduation from high school or possession of high school equivalency
- Three years of office or clerical experience; higher education may substitute for required work experience
- Previous human resources experience is a plus but not required
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
- Proven ability to multi-task with effective time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with common computer software programs (such as word processing, spreadsheets, and email applications)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- A customer‑service mindset, with the ability to interact effectively with applicants, employees, and the public
