HHC - Licensced Practical Nurse - Days and Nights

Higginsville Habilitation Center is recruiting for Licensed Practical Nurses, to be a part of a highly effective team, that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. HHC is a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports individuals receiving 24/7 services.

Must have knowledge of current nursing theory, practices and techniques. Skill in applying practical nursing principles in the care of persons with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of practical nursing duties to individuals with developmental disabilities in a team setting. Duties include: direct patient care, lab draws, medication administration, educating direct support staff, attend specialist appointments, management of caseload to include following current standard of practice and ICF policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Missouri.

Shifts

• 6:00 am - 6:30 pm, rotating weekends and holidays (1 open position)
• 6:00 pm - 6:30 am, rotating weekends and holidays (3 open positions)
