What are the responsibilities and job description for the Signal and Lighting Supervisor - Engineering Specialist Senior position at State of Minnesota - Transportation Dept?
This position exists to manage District 1’s signal systems, lighting systems, various warning flashers, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and Gopher State locating. Responsibilities include all aspects of scoping, designing, operating, and maintaining the systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
Three (3) years of advanced para-engineering experience at the Engineering Specialist level (or equivalent) that demonstrates all the following:
- Experience working with the Minnesota Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Traffic Engineering Manual, and Standard Sign and Marking Summary and Manual.
- Experience applying traffic engineering principles and standards.
- Experience installing and inspecting sign structures and sign panels.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, and sign inventory software.
AND
- Valid Class D Driver’s License.
