This position functions as a first-line professional manager of professional positions in Housing and Homeless Services and is responsible for overseeing three administrative staff who cumulatively manage the inflow and outflow of H&HS’ $45 million-dollar annual budget. This position is responsible for guiding the day-to-day work of the contract's analyst, billing analyst and financial analyst to ensure all contracts, reimbursements, procurements, and federal draws are done accurately and timely per state and federal requirements. This position is the primary liaison with MDHHS Financial Services Administration to address current and future grant needs. This position is responsible for receiving and implementing instructions from the SAM 15 over Housing & Homeless Services and provides recommendations to the SAM 15 on contract, procurement, billing, and other financial responsibilities. This position is the liaison with the Bureau of Audit and the Budget division as well as the Grants division for all federal and philanthropic applications. This position is responsible for ensuring that all deadlines and financial requirements for fiscal and grant terms are met.

Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience
Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely, employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including:
o A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
o A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
o Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.
