Main Purpose of Job
The Clinical Director serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Thomas B. Finan Center and is the senior clinical/medical executive responsible for the leadership, oversight, and strategic direction of all clinical and medical services. This position provides and ensures the delivery of safe, high quality, recovery-oriented, and legally sound patient care across a complex 24/7 environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates must possess a degree in medicine (MD) from an accredited college or university, possess Board Certification in Psychiatry and have two years of medical practice in psychiatry, preferably at a supervisory or administrative level.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The desired candidate should possess: Leadership experience and a team-oriented approach Experience providing psychiatric care in an inpatient setting Forensic experience
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Applicants for this classification must be board certified in Psychiatry by the�American Board of Medical Specialties, or other Board approved by the Maryland Board of Physicians. Applicants for this classification must be licensed by title by the Maryland�Board of Physicians to practice medicine under Maryland State Law.�A copy of your current Maryland medical license and board certification should be attached to the application.
