Northeast Delta Human Services Authority is seeking a Behavioral Health Center Manager-B to oversee the operations within a behavioral health clinic. The incumbent of this position provides both supervisory and clinical services. The position requires a knowledge of supervisory practices, appropriate clinical interventions, and operational practices of the clinic. This position promotes, directs, and supervises the effective operation of a behavioral health clinic, assuring that it meets the needs of the consumers, their families, and the public by utilizing all available resources.

Minimum Qualifications

A master's degree in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field plus four years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling; OR

A doctorate in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field, or a medical degree plus three years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

• Works as a part of a treatment team to provide quality care and reduce the stigma surrounding behavioral health (mental health or substance use) treatment.
• Plans, prioritizes, and manages clinical treatment services for complex behavioral health cases by completing initial biopsychosocial assessments and orientation for new consumers; will also develop and implement personalized treatment plans with clients on the caseload, and determine appropriate specialized treatment for clients as needed.
• Attends in-service trainings for staff and completes required trainings in a timely manner while assisting with the collection of TOMS and QOC surveys, as assigned.
• Organizes, leads, and/or participates in committees that plan, develop, and/or monitor Regional Behavioral Health Operations.
• May be required to perform other duties as necessary, including, but not limited to, emergency/disaster support activities.

Location: Tallulah Behavioral Health Clinic

Compensation:NEDHSA is a designated approved National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site. Clinicians who work at NHSC-approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program to pay off student loans.

• 2-year Full-Time Clinical Practice: NHSC will pay up to $50,000* for an initial 2 years of full-time clinical practice to clinicians.

(Full-time clinical practice is defined as no less than 40 hours per week, for a minimum of 45 weeks per year.)
