OPEN COMPETITIVE
Randomly select and assign Quality Assurance Reviews (QARs) to all quality assurance staff and conduct QARs to determine adequacy of compliance with policies, procedures, and directives. Audit files and inform supervisor of findings by means of reports and briefings; evaluate processes to assist management in making decisions regarding solutions for identified problems.

Assist the Bureau of Finance and Accounting with special projects, as directed.

Develop reports and employee scorecards to assist with the evaluation of quality and quantity of production for the disbursement section; translate or explain information and how it can be used to support staff in the performance of their duties.

Develop and update desktop manuals, SOPs, and training materials to ensure compliance with Florida Statutes, Florida Administrative Code and Department of Health policies. Develop training material and assist with training.

Perform all job duties within the section and act as back up, as required.

Perform other duties, as required.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum - Must be willing to physically come in the office to perform the duties & responsibilities of the position.
  • Monitoring the Warrant Request Inbox including duties such as warrant stop/reissue requests, warrant cancellation requests, warrant copy requests, and processing affidavits attesting to forgery.
  • Assisting the Bureau of Finance and Accounting with special projects, as directed.
  • Developing and updating desktop manuals, SOPs, and training materials to ensure compliance with Florida Statutes, Florida Administrative Code and Department of Health policies. Assisting with training while optimizing SOPs.
  • Performing all job duties within the section and act as back up, as required.
  • Monitoring the Payment Inquiries Inbox while fulfilling various requests including providing requested documentation for payments and statuses of payments along with various other requests.
