This position requires extensive overnight travel up to 5 nights per week. This is a Supervisor position.
The Registered Nurse Supervisor/Expert plays a critical role in supervising survey teams conducting long-term care facility recertification, complaint, initial, and revisit surveys.
Strong leadership, advanced clinical expertise, and the ability to manage survey teams across multiple settings.
Specialized training is required to accurately analyze survey findings and make fair, consistent, and defensible determinations of facility compliance.
In addition, this position will often serve as the team coordinator when on survey, requiring further specialized training to manage and coordinate all survey activities before, during, and after survey completion.

Minimum Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arkansas. Minimum of five years of Registered Nursing experience, including supervisory experience.
Satisfaction of the minimum qualifications, including years of experience and service, does not entitle employees to automatic progression within the job series. Promotion to the next classification level is at the discretion of the department and the Office of Personnel Management, taking into consideration the employee’s demonstrated skills, competencies, performance, workload responsibilities, and organizational needs.
