What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at State License Servicing?
Pharmacy Techs — Ready to Step Out From Behind the Counter?
Licensing & Customer Success Specialist In-Office · Warwick Valley · Monday–Friday, Daytime Hours
Are you tired of working behind the counter and stuck at typical local pharmacy tech wages?
If you know your way around the pharmacy world but you're ready for a real corporate career — better pay, weekday hours, room to grow, and a seat at a professional desk instead of a retail counter — we should talk.
We're a growing company in the pharmaceutical regulatory and licensing space, and we're looking for sharp, detail-oriented people to join our team. Your pharmacy background is exactly the kind of foundation we can build on. We'll teach you the rest.
Why Make the Switch
- A real raise. Trade counter wages for a competitive corporate salary.
- Weekday schedule. Monday through Friday, daytime hours. No nights, no weekends, no holidays.
- A career, not a shift. Grow into account management, compliance, and beyond, with training and support along the way.
- Full benefits. Medical; short-term and long-term disability; 401(k); paid time off and paid holidays.
- Work that matters. Help pharmaceutical companies stay licensed and compliant across the country — meaningful, professional work that uses what you already know.
What You'd Do
You'll be the go-to person for a set of our clients — helping set up their accounts, keeping their licensing information accurate and up to date in our system, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. Day to day, you'll answer client questions, track important deadlines, keep records organized, and be the reliable, knowledgeable contact people count on. If you've juggled prescriptions, insurance, inventory, and impatient customers all at once, this will feel familiar — just at a desk, with better hours, at a less hectic pace, and more room to grow in a corporate environment.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Experience as a pharmacy technician or in a pharmacy, healthcare, or customer-service role (no regulatory or licensing experience needed — we'll train you).
- A sharp eye for detail and accuracy — you catch the small stuff.
- Comfortable with computers and quick to learn new software.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Organized, dependable, and able to keep several things moving at once.
This is an in-office long-term role based at our Warwick Valley, NY office. (This position is not remote.)
