Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of various office machines and office software programs
- Willingness to learn basic computer knowledge with home health computer systems, OASIS, plan of care and regulations
- Knowledge or willingness to learn the insurance authorization process of various insurance companies
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Job Duties:
- Verifying insurance benefits of privately insured clients/patients
- Data Entry
- Notifying case management staff of patient service status
- Record keeping of all patients
- Other duties as assigned
