About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join our team in a hybrid capacity in Seattle. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in modern web technologies, particularly React and Next.js, and contribute to building high-quality digital experiences in an enterprise environment. This role will also involve light contributions to backend API development in Java-based services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using React, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and backend engineering, to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Contribute to backend API development using Java (Spring Boot) when needed.
• Integrate and optimize GraphQL queries and schemas within web applications.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues across front-end systems.
• Stay current with evolving front-end trends, frameworks, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6 years experience building and developing web applications in an enterprise environment. Expert in front end development with React, Next, and Node.
• Experience working with GraphQL in production environments.
• 1 year of experience contributing to backend API development using Java (Spring Boot).
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, responsive design, and web performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of TypeScript or other modern JavaScript tooling.
