Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Pre-Owned Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. This role is essential in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a background in automotive sales, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele. As a Pre-Owned Automotive Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the purchasing process, ensuring they find the right vehicle to meet their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and preferences.
  • Utilize effective negotiation techniques to close sales and maximize profitability.
  • Manage the sales pipeline by tracking leads and following up on potential sales opportunities.
  • Provide high-quality customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sale follow-up.
  • Conduct outbound sales calls and cold calling to generate new business.
  • Maintain knowledge of inventory management and control to ensure accurate representation of available vehicles.
  • Utilize CRM software for tracking customer interactions and managing sales activities.
  • Assist in marketing efforts to promote pre-owned vehicle inventory.
  • Demonstrate excellent public speaking skills during presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with team members on upselling strategies to enhance customer experience and increase sales.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the automotive industry or high-end retail sales.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal closures.
  • Familiarity with P2P sales processes is a plus.
  • Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced customer engagement.
  • Proficient in managing a sales pipeline and utilizing CRM software effectively.
  • Previous dealership experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of retail math and inventory management practices is beneficial.
  • A proactive approach towards cold calling and marketing initiatives.
