Our client, Esri, the global leader in geographic information system (GIS) software, is looking for a Sr. Income Tax Accountant to join their finance team at their headquarters in Redlands, CA. This is a key role responsible for corporate income taxes for affiliates and ensuring all internal and regulatory deadlines are met for income tax compliance and planning.
Responsibilities
- Manage corporate income taxes for affiliates and ensure all regulatory deadlines are met for compliance and planning efforts.
- Support international operations regarding U.S. income taxes and tax planning as required.
- Act as a primary liaison with local CPA firms to facilitate timely and accurate tax filings for all entities.
- Research tax law and rulings while exploring new technologies to improve accuracy and efficiency in tax processes.
- Maintain knowledge of company accounting records to provide support for financial and tax audits.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of professional experience in corporate income tax compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or a related field with an Accounting Certificate).
- CPA (active or in progress).
- Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.
Recommended Qualifications
- Master’s degree in taxation.
- Thorough knowledge of international income tax laws.
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP software and common tax research tools.
