We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing initiatives across various channels. This position requires a blend of creativity, video production, resourcefulness, imagination, and writing skills to enhance our brand presence and drive engagement for our nonprofit.
The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with different departments and members to execute marketing strategies that align with our business goals and mission.
Duties
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and search rankings.
- Manage social media marketing campaigns across multiple platforms to engage audiences and promote brand awareness.
- Coordinate multichannel marketing efforts, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
- Assist in advertising initiatives, including the creation of promotional materials.
- Execute digital marketing campaigns, focusing on content marketing, B2B marketing, and performance marketing strategies.
- Identify and coordinate opportunities for STG representation among local media networks and platforms.
- Oversee monetization of our YouTube Channel and work with our STG-News team to support our membership in producing content and increase output. (This helps fund your programs!)
- Maintain and update the company website, ensuring content is fresh and relevant.
- Write compelling copy for various marketing channels, including video, email marketing campaigns, YouTube, and website content.
- Manage social media campaigns to drive traffic and conversions effectively.
- Collaborate with the team to align marketing efforts with mission and objectives.
- Develop budgets for marketing projects and track expenditures to ensure adherence to financial plans.
- Utilize Google Analytics to monitor campaign performance and generate reports for analysis.
Skills
The successful candidate will possess a diverse skill set that includes:
- Proficiency in SEO, social media marketing, multichannel marketing, advertising sales, digital marketing, content marketing, B2B marketing, performance marketing, e-commerce, and email marketing.
- Familiar with Google Workspace platform.
- Proven experience with website management, and knowledge of accessibility options and features.
- Basic knowledge of HTML for web content updates.
- Strong research skills to analyze market trends and identify connections and opportunities for media exposure.
- Excellent copywriting abilities for crafting engaging content.
- Understanding of Google Analytics for performance tracking.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes related to marketing initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
