Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on various equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters, to identify electrical faults
- Repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during maintenance activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Proficiency with electrical testing tools, especially ohmmeters, for diagnosing electrical issues
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred
