Startech Networks (https://startechnetworks.com), a leading wireless network engineering services company is seeking a new Data Center Sales Executive to work in our Plano, Texas headquarters. This is a full-time permanent position with a base salary and benefits plus commission.
What You’ll Bring:
✅ At least 2 years selling fiber optics installation and/or structured cabling services to data centers.
✅ 5–7 years overall data center sales experience.
✅ A track record of selling engineering services/solutions to small or mid-sized companies.
✅ Ability to build and grow strategic hyperscaler accounts.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive new business with hyperscaler clients.
- Sell tailored solutions in fiber infrastructure, cabling, colocation, and cloud services.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure.
- Travel nationwide to meet clients and close deals.
📍 Location: Onsite in Plano, TX – 100% travel.
💼 Compensation: Starting At $130,000 Base Salary Commission.
We are seeking candidates who are DC infrastructure Sales Experts driving installation, commissioning, integration, cabling, rack/stack/palletizing, Optical characterization, OTDR testing, spanning and splicing in both low and high voltage DC environments. If you have deep data center, AI infrastructure and hyperscaler connections and DC industry acumen (knowledge of large infrastructure and colo projects & providers e.g. Coreweave, Anthropic, Google, Oracle Stargate, Tesla, Digital Realty, TierPoint, Cologix, AWS, Microsoft, Open AI, Equinix, etc.) and you're ready to lead high-value deals in the fast-growing data center sector, we want to talk to you!
