Title: Draw Operator/Surfacing OperatorLocation: Southbridge, MAPosition Type: Full-time, direct hire with benefits that start on day #1Shift: Openings: 1st shift (6am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday), 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm, Monday through Friday), OR 3rd shift (10pm-6:30 am, Sunday night through Friday morning)Your Qualifications as a Machine Operator:Must be able to read, write, and speak English.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Self-motivated and results oriented.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.Due to the nature of work performed at this facility, US Person status may be required.Your Contribution as a Machine Operator:Under close supervision, sets up and operates various types of belt draw towers; simultaneously operates multiple draw towers.Performs visual and mechanical inspections to ensure that the product being produced conforms to process specifications; refers questionable product to more experienced operators.Performs routine machine/equipment maintenance and inspection.Maintains housekeeping practices per departmental 5S program.Able to meet utilization targets and standard times.Accurately enters Database/SAP transactions in the computer.Maintains daily records, including labor sheets and routers.Responsible for observing and following all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and procedures.
