Starr Regional Medical Center seeks talented Registered Nurses to fill the position of RN Charge – Registered Nurse Charge for our Women's Services Department. This job is permanent, full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements individualized patient care plans based on assessment of patient needs.
- Supervises and mentors nursing and support staff during assigned shift.
- Determines staffing levels and assignments based on staff availability, staff abilities, census, patient acuity, and work/patient flow.
- Provides direct patient care as needed, prioritizing tasks to meet patient needs.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- Associate's degree in Nursing (Required)
- Tennessee State RN License or compact state equivalent
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
