Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC components.
- Maintain outdoor landscapes through mowing, landscaping, tree trimming, gardening, and lawn care activities.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for construction or landscape projects.
- Conduct seasonal tasks such as snow plowing and ice management to ensure safe access during winter months.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems, hardscape features, and other outdoor structures to enhance property aesthetics.
- Assist with tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and planting to promote healthy growth.
- Support general facility upkeep by inspecting equipment, replacing parts, and ensuring safety standards are met.
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance or construction environments.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and operating heavy machinery like excavators.
- Experience in landscaping, lawn care, gardening, and horticulture practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including mowing, tree trimming, snow plowing, and hardscape installation.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance techniques.
