Job Summary:
Diamond Head Point Condominium Association is seeking a dependable, hands-on Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to work alongside our full-time Maintenance Person and help maintain our condominium property.
This position includes a variety of property maintenance, cleaning, grounds and general upkeep responsibilities. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, and enjoys staying active and working with their hands.
Candidates with maintenance, construction, handyman or property management experience are certainly welcome. This could also be a great fit for an experienced or semi-retired maintenance professional looking for part-time work.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Maintenance Person with day-to-day maintenance and property projects
- Pressure wash walkways, common areas and exterior surfaces
- Clean exterior walls, windows and glass
- Clean and maintain docks and waterfront areas
- Keep common areas, walkways and grounds clean and well maintained
- Assist with repairs and maintenance projects
- Move and organize equipment, supplies and materials
- Help with cleanup before and after maintenance projects
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Perform other general property maintenance duties as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
Dependable, punctual and self-motivated
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work
Able to work both independently and alongside our Maintenance Person
Comfortable working outdoors
Experience in maintenance, construction, handyman work or property maintenance is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 per week
