Position Title: Vacation Counselor
Reports To: Director of Sales
Purpose:
A Vacation Counselor follows engages tourist and offers incentives in exchange for attending a timeshare presentation without any requirement to purchase.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Primarily works outdoors.
- Engages tourist and offers incentives in exchange for attending a Timeshare presentation.
- Overcomes objections on a regular basis.
- Knowledge of local attractions in the area.
- All other duties as assigned.
General Statement - Performs the job assigned, complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.
Job Requirements
Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:
- High School diploma/GED referred.
- Maintain a performance criterion that is measured by monthly sales reports.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Excellent customer services skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible schedule
Shift: Weekends and holidays are required
