Accounting Manager 

We are looking to expand our Finance department and are seeking a dedicated and motivated Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the company’s growth. 

Responsibilities may include but not limited to: 

•  Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including but not limited to the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
•  Billing process including auditing charges, drafting and releasing invoices to clients and reconciling client budgets 
•  Manage the month-end and year-end close process
•  Review and balance of General Ledger monthly, quarterly and annually 
•  Process journal entries - preparing and processing accrual and reversal entries
•  Proficient in cost accounting  
•  Monthly bank statement reconciliations 
•  Account Receivables, client statements and collections
•  Account Payables, vendor invoice auditing and entry, ACH, wire & check remittances
•  Bank deposits and cash applications 
•  Manage corporate credit cards, statement reconciliations, entry and schedule payments 
•  Request, collect, and manage vendor W-9 forms to ensure accurate tax documentation and compliance
•  Maintain accurate 1099 records and oversee the year-end preparation and submission of 1096 form 
•  Process monthly sales tax filings 
•  Tracking fixed assets and constructing depreciation schedules 
•  Maintaining records through accurate filing of documents 
•  Work closely with other internal departments and vendors as needed 
•  Implement accounting software improvements and streamline financial workflows

Successful candidates will have the ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and maintain Accounting best practices in addition to:

•  Experience with Zoho One (Books, CRM, Projects, Expense) is a plus, but a willingness to learn is just as valuable
•  QuickBooks knowledge is a must, as we will be migrating from QuickBooks to Zoho
•  Ability to work with cross-functional teams to optimize Zoho integrations and ensure smooth operation across departments
•  Ability to direct and coordinate all Accounting functions 
•  Experience in accrual and cash basis of accounting
•  Ability to work independently and make critical decisions 
•  Maintain excellent time management and understanding of priorities 
•  Ability to work with a high degree of confidentiality and in a deadline-driven environment 
•  Extremely organized and detail oriented 
•  Team player that can collaborate with others 
•  Ability to communicate professionally both internally and externally 

Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 
•  4 years’ experience performing similar duties
•  Math and analytical skills
•  Attention to detail
•  Ability to work in a fast paced environment
•  Mac experience required
•  Proficient in Google Suite, skilled in using Sheets and experienced in efficiently organizing and managing digital files
