We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant - Pantry to join our team. Based at the Eden Prairie, MN Global Headquarters, the Kitchen Assistant is responsible for preparing and serving other various food items. This position also assists in catering corporate meeting events.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items for cafeteria.
- Prepare all bakery treats for breakfast
- Prepare salad and sandwiches
- Set up salad bar including preparing all necessary items for salads
- Set up and prepare specialty projects such as salads, popovers, bars, etc.
- Set up vending needs
- Assist with catered corporate meeting events.
- Set up all special party food for breaks and box lunches
- Prepare food items for catered events.
- Assist with special projects.
- Assist with other areas of the cafeteria.
- Cashier when needed.
- Assist in all kitchen areas when needed.
Job Requirements
High school degree or equivalent required.
Experience
1 years of kitchen/pantry experience required
Competencies, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to multi-task required.
- Good organizational skills required.
- Good people skills required.
Working Conditions
- Sit approximately 20% of day and move about approximately 80% of day
- Regular attendance and responsiveness to reasonable job-related directives given by the supervisor
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. required.
Equipment Operation
- Various kitchen equipment
The hourly rate for this position is between $16.69 - $20.67/ hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results. There is no guarantee of payout.
