Job Summary
The Installation Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our luxury carpet installations. This involves precise layout planning, proactive troubleshooting, collaboration with sales and design teams, and meticulous job site inspections.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive installation layouts based on sales quotes, ensuring adherence to project specifications and minimizing material waste.
- Proactively identify and resolve on-site challenges before, during, and after the installation process, minimizing delays and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Partner with the STARK installation team to provide expert guidance to sales staff, designers, and clients regarding installation-related inquiries.
- Conduct thorough job site inspections, documenting findings in detailed reports to guarantee that all installations meet STARK's high standards.
- Accurately calculate material quantities and plan seam placement based on layouts.
- Install carpet in homes and small offices.
- Layout, cut, and seam carpet of different patterns, constructions, and fibers.
- Maintain a clean work environment and vehicle .
- Bind and serge carpet on-site and at the warehouse/workroom.
- Digital takeoff's and Measures using measure square.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must have at least 3 years experience installing
- Ability to read and interpret detailed floor plans is essential.
- Must be capable of determining necessary materials for onsite labor.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills required, with the ability to engage effectively with team members, sales staff, clients, and designers.
- Ability to multitask effectively is a must
