SpectrAbilities Program Leader – Part-Time (MSGA)

About the Role

MSGA is seeking a compassionate, organized, and driven SpectrAbilities Program Leader to lead and grow our program serving neurodivergent students. This leadership role is responsible for developing curriculum, leading staff, and delivering an exceptional experience for every athlete and family.

The SpectrAbilities Program Leader plays a key role in supporting the overall success of the facility by driving enrollment, fostering retention, and ensuring each class delivers the “best hour of their week.”

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Program Leadership & Growth

  • Develop and implement a fun, structured, and developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to neurodivergent athletes
  • Create engaging programming that drives year-round participation and enrollment growth
  • Monitor program performance using data (iClass reports) and make data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with marketing to support lead generation and conversion strategies

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop all SpectrAbilities Coaches
  • Assist in hiring, training, evaluating, and developing staff
  • Maintain a fully staffed schedule and manage coverage needs
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and Employee Development Meetings (EDMs)

Program Operations

  • Create and distribute weekly lesson plans
  • Review student intake forms and conduct evaluations for class placement
  • Implement and manage skill tracking systems in iClass
  • Maintain staff certification records (CPR, First Aid, etc.)
  • Evaluate class schedules and identify opportunities to expand or consolidate offerings

Customer Experience

  • Ensure every class delivers a safe, structured, and engaging experience
  • Build strong relationships with families through communication and support
  • Address and resolve all family concerns within 36 hours
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of student information (HIPAA compliance)

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience working with neurodivergent children (autism spectrum, sensory needs, etc.)
  • Background in gymnastics, movement-based programs, education, therapy, or related fields
  • Ability to manage staff, schedules, and program operations effectively
  • Patient, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Passion for working with kids and developing others

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), ABA, Special Education, or related fields
  • Prior experience leading or managing a team
  • Experience building or implementing individualized or adaptive programming
  • Familiarity with behavior management strategies and sensory supports
  • Experience communicating with families about development, progress, and placement

Position Expectations & Performance Standards

  • Teach at least 5 classes per week
  • Maintain required certifications (CPR, First Aid, etc.)
  • Maintain 40% trial conversion rate
  • Achieve an eNPS score of 20 from program staff
  • Participate in leadership meetings and ongoing training
  • Ensure all decisions align with company strategy and program objectives

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
