Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Lighting Sales role based in St. Louis, MO. The Lighting Sales team member will engage with contractors, property managers, business owners, and walk-in customers to understand their lighting needs, recommend appropriate products, and guide them through LED retrofit and energy-saving solutions. Daily responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound sales calls, preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment. The role also involves educating customers on product features, LED technologies, and available utility rebate programs, while maintaining strong relationships with repeat clients. This position requires proactive follow-up on leads, participation in vendor or product training, and collaboration with internal team members to support sales targets and excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and team members.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and building long-term relationships.
- Proven Sales skills, such as lead follow-up, consultative selling, and closing opportunities in a business-to-business or wholesale environment.
- Experience or interest in Training, including the ability to explain lighting products, LED technology, and rebate programs to customers and colleagues.
- Exposure to or aptitude for Sales Management, including tracking performance metrics and supporting team sales goals.
- Basic technical understanding of lighting products and LED retrofit solutions, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Comfort using sales and inventory systems, email, and standard office software for quoting and order entry.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, electrical, or related fields is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in St. Louis, MO, including standing, walking the warehouse, and assisting with counter sales as needed.
