(Star Pipe USA, LLC DBA SP Foundry has an opening in South Coffeyville, OK) Production Coordinator – Molding: Oversee production for the Mold and Core Shop, cost reduction and savings initiatives, manpower and resource management, quality control and quality management system related activities and overseeing safety protocols. Monitor mold process control, process cycle times and overall operating efficiency. Ensure daily production planning for molding is carried out smoothly in coordination with scheduling, tooling and melting team. Maintain target fill rates against daily production schedules. Ensure compliance to Quality Management System and procedures and participate in internal audits. Participate in casting defect root cause analysis with the quality control team and make plans to minimize product defects caused due to molding process control parameters. Monitor and optimize material consumption for cost control. Evaluate and adjust molding sand properties as per established parameters. Manage daily work allocation for team members and assist in periodic evaluations. Manage the transportation of production materials and tools safely within the workshop at a high volume. Provide periodic training to team members, including temporary hires, for the high pressure molding equipment operation and PLC controls, green sand properties testing and control, quality improvement initiatives and safety procedures. Monitor compliance with Environment, Health and Safety EHS protocols for the team. Ensure accurate data records are maintained for daily activities. Prepare and provide Operating summary reporting to management. Will supervise employees. Requires Bachelors in Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related and 1 year experience. 1 year must include experience using ERP software and Microsoft Office software applications.
