Job Description:
We are seeking skilled and compassionate Neuro Med-Surg Ortho Registered Nurses to join a reputable Acute Care facility in Tallahassee, FL, the vibrant capital city of Florida and the hub of the Big Bend region. This permanent, full-time opportunity is ideal for RNs who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care within a fast-paced clinical environment.
As part of the Neuro/Med-Surg/Ortho team, you will assess and care for patients with neurological conditions, post-surgical orthopedic cases, and general medical-surgical diagnoses while collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments at admission and every scheduled shift, promptly communicating changes in patient condition.
- Perform provider-ordered procedures, treatments, and monitoring while ensuring accurate, timely documentation in the patient’s medical record.
- Administer medications safely, monitor patient response, and intervene appropriately in the event of adverse or unintended reactions.
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate bedside care; respond promptly to patient requests; and proactively anticipate patient needs.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about diagnoses, treatments, medications, side effects, discharge plans, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to promote patient safety, positive clinical outcomes, and excellent patient experiences.

- 3 × Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 3 × Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week
Compensation:
$27.72 – $39.60/hr
Annual Salary: $51,000 – $74,000 (depending on experience)

Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year recent RN experience in acute care highly preferred
- Open to candidates with LTAC experience
- License: Active Florida RN License
- Compact RN license holders must obtain a Florida RN license within 60 days of relocation
- Certifications:
- Current BLS/CPR (AHA)
- ACLS – required within 6 months of employment
- Resume: Must reflect recent and relevant RN experience
