POSITION: Shop Cleaning Assistant
Our Shop Cleaning Assistants have important roles at Star Nursery. They are responsible for maintaining the professional image of our Fleet Maintenance Shop as well as Company property. While this is an entry level position, there could be opportunities for training on light mechanics and service work.
Position Details
- General Duties include maintaining a clean shop area, wiping up break area, tidying up restrooms, and picking up litter on property.
- Work Under own supervision / Assist team members in various roles
- A friendly, courteous, and professional attitude required
- Maintain Power Washing Equipment / supplies / chemicals
- Must be physically capable and willing to work safely
- Must be willing to work in hot/dry/weather for extended periods
- General Mechanical knowledge a plus but not required
- M-F 8am – 4:40pm
- Room to grow with the company
Qualifications:
Must be safety minded
Must work well with others as well as independently
Attention to Detail/ Fastidious
Additional information:
Full Time
The work requires moderate-heavy physical exertion
Applicants must be physically fit and be able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 70 lbs.
