We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven Countertop Templator to join our Residential Flooring Team. In this role, you will be responsible for measuring and templating cabinets for countertop installations and providing precise take-off bids to our sales and design teams.

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven Countertop Templator to join our Residential Flooring Team. In this role, you will be responsible for measuring and templating cabinets for countertop installations and providing precise take-off bids to our sales and design teams.
A Typical Day
- Measure and create templates for various countertop materials, ensuring accuracy for installation.
- Collaborate with clients and contractors to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Coordinate and organize schedule for making site visits to new construction and remodel properties.
- Provide detailed drawings and quotes utilizing CAD based programs, a product/bid system and job tracking app.
- Manage changes/additions to materials, bids, and drawings in a timely manner.
- Work effectively with customers and internal employees to build good relationships and expectations.
- Some flooring estimating will be involved depending on the volume of countertop templates on any given day.
- Basic construction knowledge.
- Motivation and ability to complete math equations accurately.
- Aptitude to read and interpret cabinet layouts, architectural blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks while meeting quality requirements and deadlines.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs.
- Previous countertop templating experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of flooring and countertop software such as Flexijet, Measure and RFMS.
- Knowledge of countertop materials and installation methods is preferred.
