Star Lumber is currently hiring Delivery Drivers, Class C, to join our team! If you have a valid Class C driver's license, a clean driving record, and a passion for customer service, we want to hear from you!
As a Delivery Driver at Star Lumber, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive the materials needed in a safe and timely manner.
As a driver you will:
- Complete deliveries of building material products in and around the Wichita area (products include lumber, siding, windows, doors, cabinets, decking and more)
- Properly load and unload materials at store and customer jobsites
- Keep accurate logs of delivery stops
- Follow all DOT safety policies and requirements
Requirements
- Valid Class C driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Ability to meet all DOT requirements and obtain a DOT medical card
- Must be eligible for interstate driving
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Physical capability to lift 50 lbs and push or pull 100 lbs frequently to facilitate the loading and unloading of building materials on/off the truck
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with building materials
- Familiarity of Wichita metropolitan area
