Star Lumber & Supply Co., Inc. delivers confidence through our products and our people. We are seeking a results oriented Commercial Flooring Project Manager to join our Commercial Flooring Team.

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of various commercial flooring project phases, while serving as a liaison to vendors, general contractors and owners’ representatives.
A Typical Day:
· Oversee activities of multiple subcontractor crews.
· Conduct job site visits to monitor work progress, qualify and safety during the installation.
· Create, monitor and execute the scheduling of each project.
· Work with customer to ensure quality aligns with customer expectations.
· Process change orders.
· Build effective relationships with key stakeholders and communicate progress through installation.
Requirements
· Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and specifications.
· Experience with trades and managing subcontractors.
· Maintain quality and efficiency standards while managing multiple projects.
· Knowledge of the construction project lifecycle.
· Communicate effectively with a variety of customers, verbally and written.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Some evening and weekend work when required.
Preferred Experience
· Knowledge of flooring products, systems and installations
· Demonstrate the ability to resolve conflict and manage difficult conversations.
