Job Summary: The Inventory Clerk 2 is an integral member of and performs duties thereto related and supporting the Inventory Department.
Essential Functions:
· Responsible for supports of the following departments:
Inventory
· Will enter all purchase orders into the company’s software system
· Collaborates on A. Gallo supply planning and execution
· Will participate in the annual fiscal inventory process
· Emails inventory reports to vendors weekly
· Will handle all types of transactions related to the inventory department, including employee purchases, bill backs, daily adjustments, and hand-delivered drops from breweries
· Will set up new vendors in the system
Finance
· Scans, labels, and creates copies of all transactions
Sales
· Will create transactions for bill backs to breweries and send them to the warehouse for processing
· Will run, maintain, and email sales reports to vendors
Key Responsibilities:
· Entering all purchase orders into the company’s software system in a timely and accurate manner
· Upload, scan, and attach supporting documents (invoices, receipts, packing slips, etc.)
· Reviews purchase orders and paperwork for completeness and accuracy prior to entry
· Following up with internal departments or vendors when information is missing or unclear
· Maintains organized digital and/or physical records of all purchasing documents
· Assists with filing, copying, and other administrative support as needed
· Communicates with team members to resolve discrepancies or issues related to orders
· Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures regarding purchasing documentation
Additional Responsibilities:
Performs other duties related in order to contribute to the team effort as assigned by the Inventory Director.

Communication Skills: Ability to read and comprehend in English simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to customers and fellow employees at Star Distributors, Inc.
Math Skills: Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, volume, etc.
Physical Demands: Able to sit for prolonged periods. Able to climb stairs and move throughout the building.
Skills and Abilities: Computer literate. Knowledge of Excel, MS Word, Internet, AS400 and, Diver.

Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
