This is a full-time, on-site role for an Automotive Technician located in Grants Pass, OR. The primary responsibilities include diagnosing vehicle issues, performing repairs, and conducting regular maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models. The Technician will ensure the highest quality of service and safety while working closely with the service team to meet customer needs. Additional duties include completing vehicle inspections, documenting service reports, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Experience with routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and repair documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- ASE certification or equivalent is preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or vocational certification is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Prior experience in an automotive repair shop is highly desirable
