Bartender

We are currently seeking a friendly and dedicated waiter and bartender to join our team. In this role, you will primarily focus on serving drinks, while providing excellent table service, taking food orders and serving the dishes. This position will also include some food prep and light cooking. While mixology skills are a plus, training will be provided to help you with the rest of the position requirements.Who are we? If you are ready to join our amazing boutique Inn then look no further.Responsibilities:Customer Interaction: Welcome and engage with customers, take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure their overall satisfaction.Table Service: Deliver food orders accurately, attend to customer needs, and maintain a courteous and attentive approach throughout their experienceOrder Processing: Utilise the point-of-sale system to input orders, process payments, and manage bills effectively.Food Preparation and Serving: prepare basic food items to serve guests as they order.Collaborative Teamwork: Work with front desk staff to create and provide food and drink service, ensuring smooth and timely delivery to customers.Beverage Knowledge: Familiarise yourself with the alcohol menu and ingredients to assist customers with questions and provide accurate information.Bar Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organisation at the bar area, ensuring proper stocking of glassware, garnishes, and beverages.Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to hygiene and safety guidelines, including proper food and beverage handling, to create a safe and clean environment.Customer Feedback: Address any customer inquiries, concerns, or special requests promptly and professionally.Training and Development: Participate in provided training to expand your knowledge of beverage and food offerings.Requirements:Previous experience as a Waiter or Bartender is advantageous but not mandatoryInterest in cocktail preparation and a willingness to learn preparing basic cocktailsStrong customer service orientation with a personable and approachable attitudeEffective communication skills to interact with guests and team membersAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and manage yourselfBasic cooking and food preparation skillsBasic understanding of point-of-sale systems and cash handlingAdaptability and a positive attitude, especially during peak hoursResponsible alcohol serviceEnthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest experiencesHigh school diploma or equivalentJoin our dynamic team and be a part of creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests.
