Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly and adhere to alcohol service regulations.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and utensils as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or banquet functions to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
- Uphold all food handling and safety protocols while serving beverages in diverse settings like nightclubs or banquet halls.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales and cashiering functions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and tab management.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous retail or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential.
