Your Opportunity
The Process/Chemical Engineer will be responsible for process systems, process-mechanical, Bulk Gas delivery and PSSS (VHP/Gas/Chemical), Industrial Waste lift, collection and treatment, and UPW (make-up, primary, and polish loop) systems for multiple ongoing projects through all phases including programming, schematic, design development, constructions documents, construction administration and project close-out.
Your Key Responsibilities
Client interface
Generate and track project delivery schedule
Develop and allocate fees for engineering work
Tracking budgets throughout design
Facilitate design of engineering plans from preliminary through construction phases;
Perform analysis and design of industrial buildings/projects;
Technical writing for engineering studies, Basis of Design documents, and narratives for non-technical audience explaining engineering concepts to facilitate decision-making;
Review and produce plans and specifications for compliance with industry codes, standards and guidelines;
Communicate and coordinate with clients, multi-discipline teams, contractors and governmental agency personnel;
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Experience as the primary engineering interface with multiple clients as a project manager or engineering lead;
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the U.S. or the ability to gain licensure within 1 year of start date;
Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks and pipe stress software, Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office applications;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interface.
Education and Experience
BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university;
5-10 years of experience with process, waste, and ultrapure water (UPW) systems in the semiconductor, petrochemical, or bio/pharmaceutical industries.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
