The Role
We are looking for a Security Engineer/Architect that has worked with Systems designs and data protection. Candidate should have knowledge of architectures and cloud based systems for big data applications. Role is hybrid with onsite in Ft. Belvoir, VA. REQUIRED: TS/SCI CI Poly and a DoD 8570 Certification with IAT Lvl 2. Salary range $150k-230k.
Responsibilities:
-Ability to document for completeness and accuracy in accordance with federal and DoD policy.
-Experience with DoD RMF system accreditation processes.
-Assess use case and operational risk of integrated open source, and GOTS/COTS software components.
-Use vulnerability management systems, automated security scanning tools, and system accreditation record systems.
-Provide security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management support.
-Apply existing knowledge of IAT to everyday tasks.
Qualifications:
TS/SCI CI Poly
-9 years of ISSE or security focused software/ systems engineering experience and a BS in related field.
-Experience with DOD systems Accreditation processes (ie. DIACAP and RMF)
-DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level II (SSCP, Security , CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification)
-Experience with DISA STIGs and SRGs, vulnerability management systems, mitigation and compliance processes, and reviewing results from automated security scanning tools.
-The ability to work independently and as part of a team is needed.
-Work in a hybrid role out of customer site in Ft. Belvoir, VA. Must be willing to work on-site 2-3 days/week. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed.

Salary : $150,000 - $230,000
