The Role
We're seeking a highly experienced Sr. Database Admin / Engineer - Exadata to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and engineering solutions with Oracle databases, with a focus on Oracle Exadata. You will design and model databases, optimize performance, and ensure robust backup and recovery processes. You will also provide technical leadership and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver enterprise-level database services.
What You'll Bring
10 years of experience administering and engineering solutions with Oracle databases (10g - current).
Extensive experience with database design and modeling.
Experience collecting and interpreting customer requirements for database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation, and tuning.
Significant experience with the production and deployment of RAC (Real Application Clusters) and RMAN (Recovery Manager) backup & recovery.
Proven experience with Oracle Exadata.
Experience with database security, Data Guard and/or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration.
BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent years of experience.
Strong independent work ethic and excellent communication skills.
Experience designing, configuring and implementing all aspects of the full stack architecture delivering innovative solutions by combining Oracle best practices, knowledge in IT product offerings, and business acumen.
Experience providing subject matter expertise to assist customers through difficult business decisions.
Recommends enhancements to meet complex customer needs.
Clearance Requirements
TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration (uncleared or under-cleared applicants will not receive a response).
