Field Safety Supervisor

Field Safety Supervisors are responsible for observing crew members during daily operations to ensure safe and productive work is being performed.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Daily crew safety observations and truck checks

· Create reports using computer software

· Submit findings to General Foreman and Supervisors in a timely manner

· Report directly to the Sr. Field Safety Supervisor

· Perform tasks without direct supervision

· Take direction

· Complete incident investigations

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Bilingual (English and Spanish)

· Lift at least 25lbs

· Bend, squat, kneel, twist, climb, pull, sit and stand for long periods

· Work in all weather conditions i.e., rain, snow, wind, sun, etc.

· Wear all required PPE.

· Able to communicate well with others.

· Organizational and time management skills

· Proficient in computers, Microsoft Office Suite and other related software

· Must have a valid, active drivers license with a clean driving record.

· Weekend and night flexibility when needed

· Bilingual is preferred, but not required.

Education and Experience

· 2-5 years of tree experience

· Tree industry related certifications and licenses, i.e., CTSP, arborists license(s), ISA certifications, etc., are preferred

· Knowledge of ANZI 133 is preferred.

· No safety experience or formal education is required.

All field safety supervisors are required to follow company, OSHA, ANSI, and DOT rules and regulations that pertain to the industry.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
