The Stanley Chocolate Factory in Estes Park, CO is seeking a motivated and experienced Barista to join our vibrant café team. Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, food items, and snacks in accordance with company standards
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions using Spot On POS systems, and perform cashiering duties accurately
- Oversee food safety protocols and ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and ordering supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Support team members during busy periods to maintain productivity and morale
- Uphold café policies related to food handling, safety regulations, and retail operations
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques
- Previous food service or café experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Proficiency in POS systems such as Spot On; cash handling skills essential
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with customers
- Basic math skills for sales calculations, retail math, and cash register operations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
