Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning and surface sanitation
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met consistently
- Clean floors using appropriate methods such as sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques
- Use cleaning detergents and equipment safely and effectively to maximize cleanliness and efficiency
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including trash removal and outdoor surface cleaning
- Manage time effectively to complete scheduled tasks within designated timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning environments with knowledge of cleaning surfaces, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, floor care products, and sanitation practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine cleaning tasks
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform manual handling activities throughout the shift
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces when necessary
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques and outdoor surface maintenance is desirable
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or customer service roles is advantageous
