Duties

• Create intricate chocolate sculptures, decorations, and confections that meet artistic and quality standards
• Prepare and mold various types of chocolate, ensuring proper tempering and consistency for optimal finish
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure food safety and efficient production flow
• Operate kitchen equipment such as tempering machines, mixers, piping tools, and ovens safely and effectively
• Follow recipes precisely to ensure consistency in flavor, appearance, and texture across all products
• Package finished chocolate products with care to preserve quality during storage and delivery
• Assist in food handling procedures, including dough preparation for related baked goods when needed
• Support high-volume production demands while maintaining attention to detail and artistic integrity
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols and managing food safety documentation

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pastry arts, cake decorating, or chocolate craftsmanship with a strong portfolio of work
• Knowledge of operating kitchen equipment such as tempering machines, mixers, knives, and piping tools
• Familiarity with food safety management practices and maintaining a clean workspace at all times
• Ability to follow detailed recipes accurately while maintaining artistic flair in presentation
• Strong knife skills for precise cutting and shaping of chocolates and baked goods
• Experience working in high-volume production environments within the food industry or culinary settings
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when needed
• Basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and recipe adjustments
• Passion for culinary arts with a focus on baked goods, desserts, and creative confectionery design
