Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent, the Teacher on Special Assignment for Special Education division, in collaboration with the division Instructional Coaches, will provide direct support, modeling, coaching and guidance to certificated and other classroom staff, supporting the alignment and implementation of curriculum, instructional strategies, positive student behavior supports, and professional development.

THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION: •Copy of valid California teaching credential authorizing service to Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Students. •Copy of CLAD certification or English Learner Authorization •Copy of Transcripts RECOMMENDED DOCUMENTS: •Letter of Interest •Resume •Letter of Recommendation(s) EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree. Special education teaching experience preferred. AB 2534: PREVIOUS CERTIFICATED EMPLOYMENT MUST BE LISTED BY DISTRICT, INCLUDING SUBSTITUTE TEACHING.
