BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of assigned leadership, the Career Technical Education (CTE) Director II provides leadership, coordination, and oversight of Career Technical Education programs supporting both SCOE-operated programs and district CTE programs. Coordinate, develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality CTE pathways aligned with state and federal requirements, workforce needs, and regional priorities; ensures compliance with applicable regulations and grant requirements; supports instructional quality and professional development; manages CTE funding and resources; and fosters partnerships with business, industry, postsecondary institutions, and community stakeholders to expand equitable student access, strengthen career readiness, and improve student outcomes across the county.
Requirements / Qualifications
Ed-Join Application. Must be at least 18 years of age. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: advanced degree and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in an educational setting. Leadership experience is desirable. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS A California Administrative Service credential is desirable but not required. Possession of a valid driver’s license, or evidence of equivalent mobility, to be maintained throughout employment.
