Position Profile: The Business Solution Specialist is responsible for researching, developing, designing and implementing solution designs within our client environments. The Business Solution Specialist is considered a technical thought leader within the sales and service team. The Business Solution Specialist will collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to bring effective business technology solutions to our clients.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Business knowledge necessary to align technology-related decisions with the organization’s goals.
  • Develops technology solutions that solve business issues
  • Identify opportunities and risks for the business
  • Drive research and development
  • Monitor technology and social trends that could impact the company
  • Communicate the company’s technology strategy to partners, management and employees
  • Maintain current information about technology standards and compliance regulations
  • Become a trusted advisor on solutions that address client’s business challenges.
  • Assists in Client technology, account planning, and strategy development.
  • Technical evangelist
  • Speak with authority about the market needs, must be credible with customers, and must be able to articulate the business value and ROI to a variety of audiences at different levels.
  • Establish and maintain internal and external professional relationships that meet our core values.
  • Prepare solutions for and evaluate technology needs based on client technology requirements
  • Translate business and technical requirements into client workflow solutions to meet client needs
  • Oversee new implementations, integrations and deployments
  • Build and deliver customer proposals
  • Maintain accurate and updated info in CRM
  • Maintain a high level of industry, technology and competitive expertise
  • Demonstrates the following leadership qualities:
  • Business maturity and consultative skills (problem solving, negotiation, assessment, speaking/presentations, technical writing, listening, facilitation, project management, ability to influence, and management of billable work.
  • Customer service focused
  • Strong teamwork skill set
  • Ability to effectively leverage resources (example manufacturer reps, specialists and technical staff)
  • Overall drive for positive business results.
